In a surreal painting called "Your Turn...", the central motif is a chessboard, but its plane is intertwined with a world of symbols and metaphors. On the background of the board there are two pieces: a red pawn and a black queen. This contrast symbolizes opposition and possible aspects of struggle in various areas of life. The pawn standing opposite the queen, as it were, challenges to a duel, ignoring its usual subordinate position on the chessboard. The Queen, in turn, wearing a red crown, exudes power and pride, but at the same time she is covered in symbols of vulnerability and limitation, such as the hourglass, indicating the passage of time, and the padlock, which can be both the key to freedom and prison. The geometric figure of four balls surrounding the castle represents an abstract riddle, perhaps symbolizing the difficulty of choice or the fate that lies within these castles. The green orb in the center could indicate a focal point or something unseen that influences everything else in the image. Above the hourglass is a key, which may represent the key to solving a riddle or to freedom from limitations. While the chess piece of a white knight and two red cherries add their own mystery and mystery to this surreal landscape, inviting the viewer to reflect on the meaning and metaphors embedded in this picture.
